BRANDTHINK Malaysia has launched an events and activation unit in an effort to keep pace with clients’ changing demands in the market.
The new unit will complete the BRANDTHINK marketing communications services portfolio and give clients additional options to reach their target market. Previously, event management was handled by the public relations team, but requests by clients to have more events and activation-based marketing activities allowed BRANDTHINK to offer it as a formal unit within its group. The unit will first tap into BRANDTHINK’s current client base that includes Breitling, Cortina Watch, Vertu, Max Mara, Caran d’Ache and STARTV, but are currently aggressively approaching fast-moving consumer companies as well.

Khoo Wee Shen
Khoo Wee Shen will join the new unit as Events Manager. She joins from Riche Monde where she handles brands such as Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and other wines.
Khoo, who will report to Poon Chian Siew, Group Account Director for BRANDTHINK’s PR and Events unit, added: “The upper-level luxury and mass affluent markets still shows great opportunity to create something extraordinary.
