(Event) Cortina Watch official launch at Suria KLCC

On the afternoon of 1st of April, Cortina Watch reached another significant milestone as it celebrated its fourth boutique opening in the iconic Suria KLCC in Malaysia with a big bang. The celebration saw the attendance of a few prominent VIPs, business partners of Cortina Watch and members of the Malaysian press.

The afternoon started with a warm welcome by emcee Elaine Daly who announced the arrival of the distinguished guest of honor, Dato’ Dr. Ong Hong Peng Secretary General, Ministry of Tourism Malaysia. Soon after, welcome speeches were given by Mr. Teh Soon Kheng General Manager of Cortina Watch Malaysia and Dato’ Dr. Ong Hong Peng.

The afternoon proceeded with a ribbon cutting ceremony which was performed by Dato’ Dr. Ong Hong Peng, Mr. Teh Soon Kheng and Mr. Jeremy Lim, Regional General Manager of Cortina Watch. Immediately after, guests were treated to an exhilarating performance by the exuberant Khuan Loke Association Lion Dance Group.

Guests continued to mingle with each other amongst an unbounded flow of champagne and canapés as they admired the featured timepieces in the boutique.

Regional General Manager of Cortina Watch, Jeremy Lim says, “We are thrilled to be amongst some of the finest international brands here at the iconic shopping arcade of Kuala Lumpur. Over the years, our focus has always been a one stop luxury timepiece provider and this is the experience we want to give to our valued customers”.

He added, “we are also indeed very honored to have Dato’ Dr. Ong Hong Peng grace our launch this afternoon. With our boutique being situated in the Golden Triangle we certainly hope that the expansion will contribute in driving the tourism industry in Malaysia”
