SCAM ALERT

Hello everyone,

It has come to our attention there is an ongoing scam being perpetrated using our previous company name, “Brandthink PR Sdn. Bhd.” or under “Brandthink Digital Advertising”.

The scam involves some sort of "task system" that claims to make payments to victims, if the victims complete certain tasks that involves remitting money to an unknown bank account. It may also involve a recruitment scam attempting to ask you to “follow” or “like” social media pages.

Please note that the above activity in our previous company name is illegitimate and false. We do not run any type of affiliate programmes, or payment programmes and we would like to urge everyone to be vigilant of this ongoing scam. Unfortunately that is not the nature of our business, and we do not run this type of activity in the past, presently or in the future.

We would also like to highlight that we do not conduct unsolicited recruitment activities through Whatsapp, and our HR department will not contact any persons without first receiving a job application via email or through LinkedIn or official advertisements on reputable job portals.

Further note, we do not accept payments of any kind, or make payments of any kind apart from those conducted via our official bank account with HSBC Malaysia, bearing our full company name. We do not accept payments to any personal bank account that does not bear our name. It is also worth noting that our company name was updated to BRANDTHINK Malaysia Sdn Bhd in July 2020 as a streamline of our strategic direction as a company.

We urge you not to provide any personal details or financial information and to remove, delete and block the said communication immediately.
